Biography

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Hotel Administration (Financial Management) with a focus on real estate finance.

I am a real estate and financial economist. My research interests are real estate and corporate finance with an emphasis on the study of durable asset financing, asset price bubbles, and financial inclusion.


Prior to joining Cornell, I worked as a market risk analyst for the North America Rates team at J.P. Morgan's Investment Banking Division in New York. I also served in the Republic of Korea Air Force as a logistics and interpreting officer engaging in various US-ROK combined exercises.


I hold an MA in Economics and MPS in Applied Statistics from Cornell University. I graduated with an AB in Economics (magna cum laude & high honors in thesis) from Bowdoin College.

I am a native English and Korean speaker, and I have working proficiency in Japanese and elementary proficiency in French.
